The T.R.E.E is committed to the educational growth and development of low income children in our community.

WHERE WE HELP

The Tree of North Texas, based in Fort Worth, partners with Birdville, Keller, Northwest, and Fort Worth ISDs to help students succeed. Many children only eat at school, so our food donations provide meals to take home on weekends. We also offer weekly on-site tutoring and mentoring, where volunteers assist with homework, studying, or simply lend an ear.

"Children cannot learn when they are hungry. Hunger affects memory, focus, and behavior which makes it harder for students to succeed in the classroom. By meeting their nutritional needs, we give them the chance to truly learn and thrive." - Brandon Board, CEO of The TREE
